What to Expect During Your Appointment
During your appointment, one of our Grand Rapids dentists will examine the inside of your mouth for red and white patches. In addition to a visual exam, the dentist will also feel along the inside of your mouth for any bumps or other abnormalities.
If they find anything suspicious, they’ll refer you to the appropriate specialist for a biopsy. The dentist may also check your neck and throat for lumps. We can do all of this during your next appointment for preventive dental care.
