Making a Difference at Home and Around the World

For over four decades, Grand Rapids dentist, Dr. Richard Neuman, and his family have dedicated their time, skills, and compassion to mission programs that provide free dental and medical care to those in need, both around the world and in their own community of Grand Rapids.
From Cambodia, Laos, Burma, and Vietnam to Romania, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Guatemala, and beyond, Dr. Neuman has led teams that offer life-changing care to individuals of all ages who otherwise lack access to essential health services.
Missions Made Possible was born out of this commitment to serve. Our mission extends beyond immediate relief, focusing on sustainable humanitarian development. We strive to alleviate poverty, combat disease, reduce infant and maternal mortality, and promote economic growth in underserved areas.
More than just meeting physical needs, our goal is to spark a ripple effect, empowering others to embark on their own missions and discover the fulfillment that comes from giving. Deep within each of us is the desire to live a life of purpose, one that echoes far beyond ourselves and contributes to the greater good.
“What we do in this life echoes in eternity.”

Seven Reasons You Should Go on a Mission Trip
1. It will open your eyes to the real world.
Experiencing life outside your comfort zone will challenge the limited lens of your daily routine. You’ll begin to see the world with deeper clarity, compassion, and purpose.
2. It will stretch your faith and your courage.
Yes, it might be uncomfortable. You could get sick or face unfamiliar challenges. But growth often begins where comfort ends, and God meets us powerfully in those places.
3. It will change you in the best ways.
Missions alter your values, priorities, and perspective. You may return home differently, be more aware, more grateful, more compassionate and yes, it is a bit harder to relate to in the best possible way.
4. It will shift your sense of humor and your heart.
What once made you laugh may not seem so funny after you’ve seen deep need. Your heart will become more sensitive, and your words more intentional.
5. It will deepen your compassion.
When you witness true suffering, it breaks your heart in ways that heal others. It changes how you see your blessings and may even shift how you live day to day.
6. You might lead someone to Jesus.
There’s no greater joy than being part of someone’s journey to faith. Sharing the Gospel in word or in action might just change an eternal life… and your own in the process.
7. You might hear the call again.
Once you go, your heart may never be the same. You could feel drawn back — not just for the adventure, but because your purpose is now tied to people and places you never imagined.
Ready to be changed forever?
Say yes to the mission — and let God do the rest.

Shoes, Socks, & Clothing Drive for Children in Need
We’re organizing a shoes, socks and clothing drive for children in need. This initiative collects new and gently used shoes, socks, and clothing for underserved children locally and abroad. Our mission is to provide essential footwear and clothing to children who need it most.
Why Shoes?
Shoes are a basic necessity that many people take for granted. For those in need, having proper footwear can make a significant difference in their daily lives, from going to school to finding work.
It’s amazing to see how a small effort can have such a big impact, whether it’s across the street or across the globe. It’s deeply rewarding to see how something as simple as a pair of shoes and socks can bring hope and dignity to children and families.
